    CSA contract giant leap towards launching Western into space

    Western University’s Institute for Earth and Space Exploration (Western Space) has landed a major contract from the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to develop an Integrated Vision System for future rover missions that could ultimately represent a flagship Canadian technology contribution for international missions to the Moon.

Space Explorers Summer Camp
(July - August, 2024)

Through the Space Explorers Program, Western Space offers Space Science and Technology themed programming on-campus during the summer and throughout the school year. This year, the summer camp program runs from July to August 2024.


Summer Academy
(July - August, 2024)

Summer academy is a 1-week summer camp for children ages 12-14. This is a more academic version of the camp with a blended learning experience where the participants will be learning about various topics in space science and technology and will engage in several experiments, hands-on activities, as well as discussions led by CPSX faculty, postdoctoral fellows and/or graduate students.


March Break Camp
(March 11 - 15, 2024)

March Break camp is a 5-day camp for children in Grade 4/5/6  offered at Western University offered March Break every year.
